MY COMPANY CAN MANAGE THE NATIONAL CATHEDRAL WITH THE INITIAL BUDGET - C.E.O OF S.E.S PROJECT MANAGERIAL SERVICES LIMITED CLAIMS.
The Chief Executive Officer of S.E.S Project Managerial Services, Mr Erasmus Kwesi Larbi, has claimed that, his company can fully manage and help in the building of the national cathedral with the intended initial budget.
In 2022, the national cathedral which was intended to be built in Ghana's capital with a price tag of about $100 million but currently has quadrupled amid record inflation and the devaluation of cedi in 2022. In 2022, the Ghanaian government had spent over $58 million on the cathedral, with about half of it going to Adjaye's architecture firm.
Recently , according to an interview granted on Onua FM by Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, member and secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral Project, claimed an amount of $200 million - $250 million will be needed to complete the National Cathedral. It is with this regard that the C.E.O of S.E.S Project Managerial Services Limited thinks his company has the ability and capability to build the national cathedral with the initial budget despite inflation and devaluation of the cedi in this era.
'This has nothing to do with politics or supporting a specific party, my claim is to prove to the government that my company which is a registered project managerial company can over see the successful completion of the national cathedral. I belive the dream of the president to build a cathedral would have or could have come into a successful effect if only some few bits and pieces have been made effective' he claimed.
